The Estuary Partnership is organizes several tree planting projects during the winter and early spring months at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, and the Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge. We welcome volunteers to get involved in the tree plantings and help the Estuary Partnership and the wildlife refuges restore these areas. Environmental Education Assistant
Interested in working with students on environmental issues in a classroom setting or in the field or putting your creativity to work developing educational games and activities for kids? The Estuary Partnership is looking for Environmental Education Assistants willing to help Estuary Partnership staff conduct and prepare for school visits and fieldwork to teach students about the lower Columbia River and things they can do to help protect the river. Volunteers are needed to assist with class visits and field trips throughout the year.
